Calling all local musicians and filmmakers!

Produce a music video inspired by the theme: Tell us a story…

CATV is thrilled to announce our 3rd Annual Music Video Contest in collaboration with Yellow House Media.

In this video competition you have three weeks to write, shoot, and edit a music video of your original music or that of a local musician/band. If you can’t find a musician to work with, don’t worry. In collaboration with Yellow House Media, CATV will help connect you with Upper Valley musicians. 
The participation fee for each team is $25.00, which is due by the kickoff meeting on Tuesday, 1/31/17.
Teams can Register online or in person at the CATV office.

Key dates:

  • Mandatory Kickoff meeting & Production Workshop: 5:30pm, January 31st in the CATV Studio
  • Submissions due: Tuesday, February 21, 2017
  • Premiere: 4pm, March 5th at the Briggs Opera House

Workshop series in conjunction with the Music Video Contest: 

  • 1/31 – Non-dialogue Storytelling (Directly following the kickoff meeting)
  • 2/7, 7pm – Where to begin? Intro to editing with Final Cut Pro X
  • 2/14, 7pm – Advanced Editing: Rhythm, Continuity, and Color
