WRIF and CATV are teaming up again for Annual 48 Hour Film Slam Competition. Teams have 2 days and 2 nights to cook up, from soup to nuts, a short film!
You have three weeks to write, shoot, and edit a freaky 5-minute horror short, which will premiere in scary spectacle at the Loew Auditorium in the Black Family Visual Arts Center on Sunday October 30th. Whatever it is – Creature Feature or Paranormal Pic – we want you to slay us with your terrifying masterpieces.
Collaboration with the Hopkins Center This collaboration with the Hopkins Center is part of the Hop’s Community Venture Initiative (CVI), which provides new opportunities for Upper Valley residents of all ages to create, access, and explore the arts. CVI builds on the Hop’s commitment, over its 50-year history, to community-oriented programs involving a strong network of local organizational partners, like CATV. Registration for the 2016 Halloween-O-Thon is now open until September 22.
Registration fee: $25/team (non-refundable)
Each competition accepts entries from the following age categories: Middle School, High School, College/Adult. Cash prizes are awarded to the the winners of each category.
